The Satyr Conductor — Ticket of Flesh

Chapter Two

The Satyr Conductor — Ticket of Flesh

He came along the carriage with a hand-stamp and a tablet cracked across its face. From the navel down he was satyr: dense dark fur, digitigrade legs ending in hard clean hooves that clicked on the metal flooring, a cock that hung heavy and half-interested against his thigh, the tip already gleaming with pre that smelled like crushed grapes left in road dust. Above the waist he wore the mercy-service sash, a battered cap with holes cut for the horns that curled back through them, and a smile with teeth a fraction too even.

“Corridor tax,” he said. His voice was low, amused, not unkind. “Heat dome’s eating the batteries. Node wants topping. Fluid or service. Your choice by car.”

Penny was already standing, pen in hand. “We log it. Named donors. Timed. No anonymous free-use on this seal. Henry is selective. Kat is perimeter. Helen is clinical observer unless she opts in. Jean and I can cover spectacle and protocol.”

The satyr’s ears flicked forward. “Selective. Rare on the north run.” He looked at Henry without pushing. “Respect.” Then he tapped the bulkhead with two knuckles.

The bronze heart under the floor answered.

The pulse went through the carriage in a single thick wave — up the legs, into the gut, straight to the lock behind breastbone and cock and cunt. Someone in the next car moaned as if struck. The satyr’s cock thickened another degree, a slow bead of pre running down the shaft and darkening the fur at the base.

“Node’s hungry for locked spend,” he said. “One full circuit from a bonded set and you’re green to Milan. I can take it here or in the side-compartment. Your seals.”

Jean’s eyes had gone bright. “Side-compartment. Clipboard stays open. You wear a temporary tag. Revocable. No scent-mark on the selective pair. No knotting language. No breeding talk. Base and spend into collection, not into the floor.”

The satyr laughed, soft. “Professionals.” He held out his wrist.

Penny clipped a consent tag to his sash — temporary, red-bordered, her initials and the time. Helen drew a small circle in her notebook and wrote: Mythic labour accepts rota. Beginning observation.

They cleared the side-compartment. Shade-cloth light made everything the colour of old honey. The node’s pulse was louder here, as if the bronze heart knew it was about to be fed.

Jean directed.

“Penny first. Waist up. Milk into the graduated cylinder, not wasted. Conductor — you do not touch until I say. Henry, threshold or corridor; node doesn’t require your body. Kat holds perimeter.”

Henry stayed in the doorway. Kat’s fingers laced through his. Not-everyone. Not deepening past the seal. He could feel the lock in him lift its head and look; he let it look and did not step forward.

Penny stripped to the waist. Her breasts were already tight from the train’s sway and the node’s thrum, areolae dark, milk beading at both nipples in fat slow drops. She sat on the bench, knees parted for balance, and took the satyr’s cock in both hands as if she were weighing produce.

He was thick — not impossible, but heavy, the shaft hot, the head flaring when she thumbed the underside. Pre welled and she spread it down with a twist, then again, until he shone. The smell of grape-musk filled the compartment and tried to crawl under Henry’s tongue. Kat’s thumb stroked once across Henry’s knuckles: present, sealed, here.

“Mouth,” Jean said. “Slow. Collect overflow.”

Penny bent and took him. The sound was wet and immediate. She went down until her nose pressed fur, pulled back slick-stringed, went down again. The satyr’s haunches trembled; his hands stayed on the overhead rail, claws flexing, not grabbing. Jean held a graduated cylinder at the corner of Penny’s mouth and caught what spilled.

“Base to tip — twist at the ridge — yes — don’t choke, we need you speaking for the log.” Jean’s free hand was in her own waistband, not yet working, just holding pressure. “Helen, markers?”

“Pulse elevated, pupils open, no hyperdrive edge,” Helen said from the corner, voice even. “Conductor’s pre is luminous under shade-light — note for Apollo-index later.”

The satyr groaned when Penny hollowed her cheeks. “Node’s climbing—”

“Not yet,” Jean said. “Penny, breasts. Strip them.”

Penny pulled off with a gasp, spit and pre connecting her lower lip to his cockhead, and cupped her own tits. Jean’s hands joined hers — efficient, not tender — and milked her in firm strokes into a second bottle. The milk came fast, white and faintly sweet under the grape-musk, filling the glass in thick ribbons. Penny’s hips kept making small circles on the bench. The satyr watched like a man at a feast he had paid for fairly.

“Now,” Jean said. “Spend. Throat or cylinder — Penny’s choice.”

“Throat,” Penny managed. “Cylinder for overflow. Tag still green.”

She took him down again. Jean timed it. The satyr’s legs locked; the fur along his belly shivered; he made a sound that was not human and flooded Penny’s mouth in hard pulses. Penny swallowed what she could, eyes streaming, and Jean caught the rest — a surprising volume, luminous at the edges, the smell suddenly richer, like a vineyard after lightning.

The bronze heart under the floor surged.

Gauge-light that no one had seen before flickered green along the compartment seam. The pulse settled into a contented idle, deeper and slower, as if the train had just eaten.

Penny pulled off, coughing once, chin shining. Jean was already stripping her own trousers with one hand, the other still holding the cylinder steady. “My turn for the log. Spectator spend. Penny — fingers. Don’t be gentle.”

Penny, wrecked and precise, pushed two fingers into Jean and thumbed her clit with the ruthlessness of infrastructure. Jean came standing, forehead against the shade-cloth, a clean sharp orgasm that shook her thighs and left a wet mark on Penny’s wrist. She logged it herself when she could breathe: spectator spend, bonded pair, node-adjacent.

The satyr gentled as if a switch had flipped. He accepted a wipe. Penny unclipped the temporary tag. He pressed a bronze token into her palm — warm, faintly alive, ticking in time with the heart under the floor.

“Valid to the Alps,” he said. “If the Furies board, show them the children-tag on your crate. They’re riding the roofs tonight.” His eyes flicked to Henry and Kat in the doorway, then away, no push. “Selective holds. Good. World needs some doors that stay shut.”

When he left, the carriage smelled of grape-musk, metal, and milk. Penny rinsed her mouth with ration water and kissed Jean once, sealed and ordinary. Helen wrote:

Mythic labour accepts rota. Spectacle can be infrastructure. Selective holds under observation. Token acquired — Hephaestian, warm.

Kat checked Henry’s intake bottle, then his face. “Cabinet?”

“Shut.”

“Green?”

“Green.”

The train moved. Bologna fell behind. Somewhere on the roof, bronze wings adjusted for the wind.
